Alan Masterton For those who really give damn: Alan Masterton pictured right, the administrator of this website. I started amateur website design as a hobby, at first it was just a case of drag and drop. The first website I ever made was am scripts in 2010 which didn't go down to well so it was discontinued and shortly after removed. In 2012 I started doing stuff for charity which is what this website was originally for. I saw that html could be used on yolasite so I used the internet to learn the very basics. Since then I've been administrating not for profit projects: this website & htmlteaching.yolasite.com. I'm quite happy to help any non profit projects as long as there is nothing dodgy.

Scots is a Language

<OK the main titles in german, but what ya gonna do

Scots is a language. Its a dialect of English. Its has its own words for things. For example 1 is yin or shove is throw. Some of these things can be confusing if you plan on learning it. Words like know is translated as ken ie I ken him. The confusing thing there is for example no - which sounds like know is a bit awkward because, if you are refusing something you say either naw or nut. But if your saying no as in there is no banana's for example you say there is nae banana's. There is lots more, but I'm sure I've confused you enough there should be more Scots Dictionaries published if any are. Use the widget on the top of this page and type a sentence, a word or indeed copy and paste paragraphs from this site as that's what it's for.
