OK, I know this is not a genre but I usually sometimes use this if I run out of ideas. The rules here are basic;
1. A modern stereotype.
2. 4 main characters.
If you choose this you are allowed to add characters. The 4 main characters don't have to be Granny, Little Red Riding Hood, A Big Bad Wolf and come on if it's modern how are you going to fit a wood cutter in there. A teenager that lives with their Granny usually works well, you should try writing like this and see what you get.
